Driving from the North to UCI - Take the 405 (San Diego Freeway) south into Orange County. You may stay on the 405 or take the 73 South. If you stay on the 405, go past John Wayne Airport. After the airport, exit the 405 at Jamboree. Turn right onto Jamboree. Proceed (about 3 lights) to Campus Drive. Turn left on Campus Drive. Drive about half mile through the wildlife preserve. Proceed through University Drive to Bridge/West Peltason Road or Berkeley/East Peltason. Take a right on West or East Peltason Drive. You are now on the UCI campus.
If you take the toll road (73 South), exit the 73 at University Drive (before the toll begins). Turn left on University. Proceed 3 lights to Campus Drive. Turn right on Campus. The next light is Bridge/West Peltason Road and the second light is Berkeley/East Peltason. Turn right on West or East Peltason Drive. You are now on the UCI campus.
Driving from the South to UCI - Go north on the 5 freeway. Take either the 405 North, where the 5 and the 405 split, or take the toll road (the 73 North) before the split. If you take the 405, be sure to stay to the right at the split from the 5. Continue on the 405. Exit the 405 at Culver Drive. Turn left over the freeway onto Culver. Travel approximately one mile and turn right on Campus Drive. Proceed on Campus (about 3 lights) and turn left on either Berkeley/East Peltason or Bridge/West Peltason Road. You are now on the UCI campus.
If you take the toll road (73 North), go all the way to the end. Exit at Bison Avenue. Turn right on Bison Avenue. You are now on the UCI campus |
