Chef Melissa King '05, vies to be 'Top Chef
'

Melissa King '05 will put her culinary skills to the test on Bravo's 12th season of 'Top Chef'.

"UC Irvine taught me how to interact with people from all walks of life. On “Top Chef,” not only do you have to compete, but you have to live with 15 other chefs from all over the nation, so I definitely had flashbacks to the roommate lifestyle." stated King.

She touts more than ten years of fine-dining experience, including three 1-star Michelin establishments. Melissa currently works as a private chef for Kitchit, demonstrating farm-to-table techniques throughout her food while drawing inspiration from her travels. Top Chef will premier on October 15, on Bravo. Read full interview >
