Since 1974, the association has been awarding merit-based scholarships and your help is needed  to review and select the 2007-08 freshmen and transfer student scholars. The review process occurs June 18 through July 27, requires 3-5 hours of reading time and your participation at the selection meeting to be scheduled for late July. For more information, contact UCIAA at 949-824-2586 or alumni@uci.edu.

UCIAA has partnered with the Santa Ana Zoo to help raise money for Orange County's first Giant Anteater exhibit. To date, alumni and friends have contributed nearly $8,100 toward the university's goal of $150,000. MORE>

 



NCAA Champs: UC Irvine defeated IPFW, 3-1 (30-24, 24-30, 30-23, 30-28) to win its first men's volleyball national title at St. John Arena on May 5, marking the first national championship since the men's water polo team took the crown in 1989. The Anteaters ended the season 29-5 overall, the most wins in school history and the most in the country this year. Visit Athletics>
