This merit-based award, created in
January 2007, rewards and acknowledges
current UCI students who demonstrate
commitment to UC Irvine through their
involvement and contribution to campus
affiliated programs, clubs or projects.
Award:
$1,500 per award
Application process:
Submit an online
scholarship application on the
Financial Aid &
Scholarships Web site.
Students also must submit two letters of
recommendation to the Office of Financial
Aid and Scholarships by the application
deadline. A review panel established by the UCI
Alumni Association will review applications.
Finalists will be identified and asked to
participate in a scheduled on-campus
interview with representatives from the
review panel.

The
UCI Alumni Association’s scholarship
selection committee will review applications and
essays, identify final
candidates and invite finalists to an
in-person interview.
Eligibility
Requirements: Minimum 3.0 cumulative
GPA, 45 units of UCI accepted coursework and
a commitment to UCI affiliated programs.
Awards are non-renewable and
recipients must re-apply each year for
consideration.
